The final week of the baseball season is here and the Phils are still phightin'. Just need to win out and they get the division title. Hopefully the Mets lose a few and miss the playoffs. That would really throw that team into turmoil. Hee hee.
Of course the Phillies making the playoffs will make it a fun October and keep the betting slip in my pocket alive. Still have the hope of cashing a ticket finally for the Phillies winning the series.

We'll be there Saturday. In a suite, even. Looking forward to the post-game dinner at Morimoto a bit more though.
Twins get first two - need one more Thursday. Lots of excitment in the NL as well. Go Phils (and sadly the Mets - only way to keep the cheese-heads out, sorry) Great last week of the season

A Philadelphia police bomb squad prior to yesterday's Braves-Phillies game “detonated three suspicious packages at Citizens Bank Park,” which turned out to be "hot dogs heavily wrapped in white packaging and duct tape" left over from a commercial shoot with the Phillie Phanatic (PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS, 9/25).
