One of the local free weekly newspapers has a contest every year for the best of Fairfield County. Well, Nutmeg Curling Club just happened to win the best kept secret category.
Not sure if that is good or bad. Good I guess that we get some press but bad in that people don't know we exist and there was a lot of ballot box stuffing by the members to get us the win.
Anyway, it is some publicity.
