Weekend curling results

The season is underway. So what happened over the weekend.

In Chicago - the group of plovers finally won a game on Saturday. Not sure if they made it to Sunday or not but I am sure they had a good time. They spent a lot of time downtown in Chicago enjoying the local watering holes.

In Potomac - two Nutmeg teams made the journey. One made it to the second event final where they finished runnerup.

In St. Paul - Derek and Charrissa made the trek and just missed qualifying for the playoffs. A good run through the C event and just came up short.

Later,
JH

You left off the most important result: did the Plovers close the bar at the club? Or any bar?

There was also a group of Jr. men(boys actually) who represented the GNCC in Moncton this weekend, they ended 4-1, a strong second. Their only loss was in the final to a team they beat the day before. Apparently these guys had facial hair and were at least a foot taller. Team members were Korey Dropkin, Thomas Howell, Andrew Glaser, David Wadsworth, Sean Burchesky.
